A Taste of the History of Alcohol in Finland Thursday 13.6.2024 at 5-6PM
Come and experience Finnish history through the lens of alcohol. Learn how the beginnings of public house culture were brought about by the church, prohibition in Finland in the 1920’s, the ending of prohibition, and modernization of the bar- and alcohol culture in Finland. The experience is in narrated in English and includes all the different tastes that will be provided during the event. Just by enjoying this event you will know a lot about Finland, Finnish people and their relationship with alcohol. all the while taking your tastebuds on a journey through time from the 1600s all the way to today.
