The EC kids program is designed for children between 6-12 years old. Participating in the program is a unique way to meet other kids, get to know Oulu and to have great time. 

Kids program is organised on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. You can take part in the program on the days that suit you schedule. Content will be updated soon and also changes to the program are possible.

Price:

40€ per day per child

Participation in the kids program requires a registration for the child (bought together with the adult registration). So all kids participating should have both, registration to the EC and registration to the kids program.

Minimum amount of participants is 5 and maximum is 20 kids aged 6-12 years. 

Activities during the week

The meeting point is at the Radisson Blu hotel or other hotel in Oulu. We spend the mornings from 9-11 at the hotel or visiting the parks close to the hotel. Afternoons we enjoy different activities around Oulu.

Meet Santa Claus

Rovaniemi in Lapland, Finland, is the official hometown of Santa Claus and not that far from Oulu. If we behave well, we might have a visit from Santa with some presents.

Nallikari beach 

Nallikari beach offers a perfect spot for a sunny summer day. The Baltic Sea is quite chilly still in June but we can build some sandcastles, play football or try who gets highest in the climbing frame. 

Music and board games

We’ll select some of our favorite board games like Ticket to Ride, which is an adventure-style game in which players attempt to cross the country and connect cities by building train routes. If some of the kids are not that much into board games, we’ll have other options as well like painting and coloring.

Parks

Oulu is a city of parks. We can find nice parks even in the middle of the city. There are more than 160 playgrounds and 17 barbeque sites. If the weather is nice, we try to spend time outside as much as we can. 

Superpark

The SuperPark in Oulu is an indoor activity park. There are a number of adventurous activities such as trampolines, slides, climbing walls, game area, and traditional ball games.
